Groundlore is made and run by Sam Arora — an independent maker, not a faceless app studio. I built it because a good cup reading is a small, warm ritual, and I wanted one that felt handcrafted rather than mass-produced.
How a reading works. You photograph the grounds after you swirl and turn your cup. The reader examines them by position — the rim for what’s near, the sides for what’s unfolding, and the bottom for what runs deeper — names the symbols it finds, and writes you a reading you can keep and share.
Honest by design. Groundlore is made for delight, not prophecy — it’s entertainment, not advice. Your first two readings are free, no card needed. Your cup photos are used only to write your reading and are then discarded — never sold, never used to train models.
Questions, or a reading that missed the mark? Start with the FAQ — it answers the honest questions, including refunds and what happens to your photos.
